Purses With A Purpose

Part of the vision and mission of MCC is to share God’s love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs. At World Treasures, we are continually seeking out opportunities to partner with our local community in ways that we are uniquely positioned to assist.

We recently participated in "Purses With a Purpose". Toothman Orthodontics and CASA Inc. of Washington County developed the project to collect gently used purses filled with toiletries, feminine products and baby products to be given to women impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse or rape. CASA Inc. provides services and programs for children, teenagers and adults impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse or rape.

Our employees and volunteers selected 20 beautiful purses that were donated to us, and we purchased items to fill the purses. We really enjoyed putting together these sweet blessings for those in need.

World Treasures currently donates regularly to MCC, Holly Place, Hannah's Homestead. We also provide clothes and other items to those in need and we recently helped a local church by donating shoes to their shoe collection project. We are always looking for a way to make a difference in our community.
